For a water tank monitoring application. Just need to send a udp message a few times a day so minimal monthly data volume.

I think Warehouse Mobile might be cheapest at $4/month for 500 MB. It uses the 2degrees network.

Wow that is ideal. 2degrees network, i.e. OneNZ cellular network?

If you're already on 2degrees, you can share your current data with another 2degrees number. So, you can pick up a 2degrees prepay sim, activate it and share your data to it and the extra ongoing cost is exactly $0 per month (the prepay sim will stay active without you having run a plan)!

If you want to avoid dealing with prepay top-ups, etc., we can offer either 2degrees or Spark IOT SIMs (on our Private APNs) for about $5/mo at those data volumes.

@johno1234 did you find a solution?

Reviving this thread because I'm in a very similar boat.

I need a low usage (max 1GB/month if that) data only sim to send telemetry data from a Unitronics PLC to their cloud interface.

OneNZ small tablet plan doesn't work and I'm loathed to pay $50 a month for a regular plan.

*PS happy to start my own thread if this isn't the proper way.

I can supply a sim with 1gb good to go for around 15.00 on One NZ and 3.00 per GB overage, i can also get spark IOT sims at a reasonable price, i would have to check the pricing on 1GB as im paying about 5.00 for 10meg at the moment, Send me a Dm if you are interested,
