If travelling to Australia on BW will roaming just work - or do we need to contact BW and turn it on? cheers

Prudence would suggest giving them a call a few weeks before you go (or now even). You would be gutted if someone came on and said "it just works" but turned out to be wrong.

Prudence who?  You mean John Lennon's friend?

I travelled through SE Asia with BW roaming and I just rang them up a bit before we left.

What did they say? Did they have to activate it on their end?

I wonder if they need seperate roaming agreements, or if they are just part of Vodafone as far as roaming is concerned.

Im picking the latter...

From memory they had to activate mine but it only took a few minutes and no forms to fill out etc, they just did it after I called.
