In the beginning, those type of adapters was what I wanted to use, but thought they were called ATA's, and thought I needed to plug analog phones directly into an ATA then into rj45 outlet. Now that it's time to get the stuff I've gone looking for an ATA to discover it is not one of those adapters, so starting thinking those adapters didn't exist. That was how I got a bit concerned thinking I had put outlets in points I now would not use.

So thank you to everyone here who has helped, I now understand this a lot better.
