DO I need to registor with Conversant to get user ID etc?

What has Conversant got to do with configuring X-lite with slingshot settings???

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

Got new modem & ATA after the switch to slingshot but can't get the ATA to work. Have spent hrs on the phone with slingshot to get it configured. Slingshot are saying their end is ok as they have tested with softphone. According to slingshot help desk person all the settings for ATA are correct.
I was assured when purchasing the ATA that it would work but I've got second thoughts.
Do I need to ditch both Modem & ATA and go for a VOIP modem?
