Yeah, sorry I had assumed you were on BigPipe UFB, so not quite the same setup as you now stated you're on VDSL.

So, @sbiddle, is it likely that this difference (OP on VDSL; me on UFB) will be the reason why he can't get 2Talk to work, given we're both otherwise using the same router, same VOIP provider and both on a public address with the same ISP using CG-NAT?

Out of curiosity (because of this GZ post), setup my Vodafone HG659 (not B version) with 2Talk and I was surprised at how quickly I was able to get it working without any problems. I just picked out key bits of information from this post and got it working, very happy. Made a hour long phone call with no problems. Might just ditch the old SPA112.

I am on UFB and Spark HG659b modem. I recently rebooted (not reset just rebooted) my modem and my PAP2T (with 2Talk subscription) dropped out. Log said 'cannot connect to server'.

After a bit of playing around I found the solution was to go to the router and select 'Internet' then 'Forwarding' then:

A. disable RTSP ALG; and

B. change SIP port from 5060 to 55060.

Now my six DECT phones are back on line.

Unsure why a power reset would cause this outage though - any ideas?

If i recall correctly, VoIP only works for some types of connections on the BP Firmware.
