xpd: It is a decent router Tongue out


That's the thing.  The router we were dealing with was also a decent brand.  Most routers seem to be fine for normal traffic, but drop time sensitive VoIP packets in, and they don't know what to do.

Go figure.

I had a look at them.  Way too expensive for home use.  Ok for business though..

My problem is the DSE router.  Bought a PBX home today with SIP trunks  and had the oposite problems.  Could call in and talk but could make out calls. Put the old Dynalink on and all was OK.. Ethereal traces showed a Register request going out but no Subsciberequest coming back.  Witth  Netcomm fone I see both..  So problem solved..
