I've installed PBX in a flash on a collocated server, and setting with my 2talk account.
It seems fine from the PBX in a flash administration page, call in and out both are fine.

But i've connected my YealinkT26P ip phone device to the PBX, it says Registered on the screen.
The can make calls out without problems, just the inbound i'm having issues.

It seems the T26P does not pick up phones at all, the incoming calls went into voice mail straight away.

Could anyone help on this, it's really urgent issues.

Cheers,
CBSYS

NAT is the cause.

Fixing it will be up to you - because it could be any number of things and without knowing the exact details of the setup including PBX configuration, router types, phone settings and firewall rules it's literally impossible for anybody to give you a simple answer.

my SIP is not behind a NAT.
I don't have a firewall and i've set up port forwarding for ports 5060 and 10000-20000(UDP) to the ip phone.
it's still not working.

So your phone and PBX are both on public IP's with no NAT involved anywhere?

This may be related but the configuration given by 2talk included g729. There doesn't seem to be anything in the endpoint manager so presuming he has configured the phone manually and by default g729 is also enabled as a codec on the phone so that could be causing issues.

I registered another extension on the PBX and could get incoming calls fine so probably a NAT issue. Actually looking at his config in the yealink he didn't have Nat Traversal enabled so that could be affecting things? Also could be he has double NAT e.g. a router plugged into a none bridged modem?

It could potentially be codec related, but Asterisk handles inbound and outbound codec negotiaaion in different ways. Clearly if you're going to use G.729 you need to buy the G.729 codec or use one of the free options if you're happy breaking the law.

OK his problem is double NAT. Usual story of plugging a router into a modem which already has NAT enabled.
