Cant access my voicemail on anything but 028 88mail which I think costs me, calls are going straight to voicemail despite having both my ata registered directly and asterisk and its been like this for ages.

Anyone else having issues?

I'm on the wlg server using Asterisk and have had no issues. Had a few calls tonight and it's working now when I tested it.

Ok, Its been unused for the last few weeks, and my account got very overdue since they seemed to have issues with the direct debt authority but I resolved that and have plugged the ata back in after moving stuff around and am not getting calls like I should be. I cant even call myself which used to work and make the other phone on the ata ring.

Working okay for me on akl server using PAP2T and has been rock solid for several weeks.

However iTalk Voicemail access has been intermittent at best over the last couple of weeks. *55 is currently not working and 028 88mail is not working from anywhere other than iTalk's own VOIP service.

Im gonna have to call them tomorrow since even my ata directly registered to them is not getting calls.

Sigh... If only xnet would hurry up and open up. I really should move this off the beta of asterisk 1.4.0 as well, but I dont know what my flatmates friend did to make g729 work on it and really need to have that working.

Richard:  Just a suggestion...

Why don't you do what Tony Hughes did and connect an FXO port to your Asterisk box?

Tony managed to get a PCI card for around $70 which then allowed him to connect to an FXS port of a device like a PAP2 or SPAxxxx.

That way you get the flexibility of Asterisk together with the reliability of VFX.  It's an unbeatable combination Cool

Hmm, only one incoming call at a time, echo problems from the cheap nasty PCI cards like I already have not doing echo cancelation.

Once I get it up to the proper 1.4 release I will call them and raise an issue or whatever they call it there.

4th call I get someone that suggests dialing the code to turn off do not distrub, looks like that was the problem.

Different one now. I can call between ata and softphone to my hearts content. But calling my number from a cellphone gets a fax machine. I don't own a faxmachine.

Sigh, and I have cards, with the number that I have to give out tomorrow.
