I am going to be moving house at the end of the year and we cant take our analog PABX with us (2 reason, 1 its too hard to get the damn thing out based on the way it was installed & we are going into a fiber only sub division)

I would want something that will support up to 2 incoming lines
1-3 desk based phones (PoE support would be nice)
3 cordless phones
option to use a non cisco analog phone.

Initially this be used in a SOHO scenario

I have heard good things about Cisco UC320W but don't know much about it or if anything else is required.

reason for looking at cisco is that I like the brand and I am studying my CCNA/CCNP and plan on doing the VOIP papers so just makes sense to be using the equipment I will be studying.

Just use 2talk? I don't know if Enterprise Cisco VOIP will be the same as SMB Cisco VOIP.

Unfortunatly the UC320 does not support cordless phones if I recall, there was one analogue port so iff all three were on the same extension that would be OK.
Also the UC320 is EOL, I belive the UC5xx is also EOL
I am not aware of a replacement for the small business market.
Have a look at 3CX as that can use most IP phones.
cheers
John

As an alternative.... Have a look at the Siemens dx800a. You can register up to 6 deck handsets to it, it can easily support 2 sip registrations as well as analogue or Isdn.... And it's pretty easy to configure. It's a simple tiny PBx but awesome for home or soho use...

The 320 wil b fine if thats wat u want. Use an ata for cordless phones. Easy t set up but u wil need poe switch. Qos on wifi so good option for sip client on smart fone. Sum 4 sale on TM. Good t learn bout cisco telephony but not too expensive(for cisco) howeva if its about money get a hosted pbx or increase your skil level n get raspbx.

The UC320 is GIU based and will not help you with your CCNA unfortunately, the UC320 are very simple to set up. CCNA, not so easy.
