I have recently signed up for a SIP/VOIP account at 2talk for my father-in-law. Everything appeared to be working after I set him up PhonerLite. (Open to suggestions for a better softphone, I did try a couple of the open source windows offerings, but the UI was terrible, especially for a computer novice). After the system had been up for a couple of days, the softphone was reporting a time-out registering. Web internet access was working fine. I tried a bunch of stuff, then after I finally rebooted the AM300 modem, and the softphone started working fine. The modem has 1.19.04 firmware.

I also tried Ekiga on my PC which I tested when I first got the account, it could not register either, until I rebooted the modem.

Has anyone had experience with the AM300 causing problems with SIP?
