Has anyone else noticed that 2talk will not allow you to call VFX numbers? I have one line that has the original number assigned by VFX (03 741....) and I get a US number unobtainable sound when I try and call it, the sceond is a number that was ported from italk which I get a message" I'm sorry this number is not registered with callplus) when I try and call it.

I can call from 2talk to my VFX number. The number was ported to VFX though.

My first step would be to ring 2talk and ask why you can call the number, it may just be a technical issue as you mentioned you can not call an ITalk number as well so they might be having routing issues, we had a number of issues early on with Callplus / Italk opening up our number ranges but that has been fixed for a while, 2Talk being new may be in the same boat with number ranges. I have just tested a Local Auck VFX number and it works fine so my guess is they don't have the number range opened up.

Best bet query them first

I cant call my VFX number from my iTalk line. The number was ported from Woosh to iTalk and then on to VFX after iTalk couldnt make the number work after porting it.

I have logged 2 fault tickets with Callplus regarding this issue and that was about a month ago, never heard anything back about it (Then again I have never had a fault resolved after logging it with Callplus)

I left a message with 2talk help regarding this(haven't heard back from them yet) But Thinking about my 03 974 number (ported from italk)when I try and call it from 2talk it is actually giving me the message that you get when you ring an unallocated callplus number(and from what I have read lately callplus and 2tallk are completely different companies). I think 2talk's number lookup table says that my 03 974 number is a callplus number(even though it has been ported) and the 03 741 number just isn't in their system.

Also when I last used italk(about six weeks ago before I had the number ported) I was unable to my vfx number from it.
