Anyone using a N95 on VOIP? Would really appreciate some help if you are.
Cheers.

i had it working on 2talk but i re flashed the phone losing the settings and i seem to have lost the guide and it's a real pig to setup and get working.

I could never get it working smoothly, it seemed to break up all the time while i was using it on wi fi and became utterly unusable when trying to use it over umts or hsdpa.

Though i was using it on the bad flash software version 11 so i think 12 should give me much better results as apparently, there is some fixes for VoIP within. (posted from my n95)

There's a detailed guide on 2talk's forum. See: http://forums.2talk.co.nz/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a

And, now a more detailed set of instructions on the 2talk blog at:

I am happily using a Nokia E61 with 2talk over several configured access points.

Followed those E61 instructions closely but end up with "Registration Failed" all the time :-(

Its not worth bothering over HSPDA, network characteristics were just not suitable for VoIP in any consistent fashion was my experience.

Contrary to early Nokia E-series phones the N95 fully supports SIP, so you can use any SIP-provider. Have a look at voipcheap.com - they're cheaper than truphone.
