I've used www.voxbone.com who can do Auckland 09 if you don't have any luck with a local provider.

Hi, is there anyone who can provide me with DID numbers for the whangarei CBD region. If not what is required to have this available here?

Is that area code 09? Any required specification for this number? Please advise so that we can organise to provide this number. How many numbers are you after?

Hi Jagdees, thanks for your reply. Whangarei is 09 but our numbers start with 43x xxxx so 09 43x xxxx
Which means if we get an auckland DID (also 09 but 09 9 or 5xx xxxx) our customers will be charged a national charge to call us, because we will have to get an auckland number for that DID. I know we could get an 0800 number and then wear the cost of the national charge, or use a forwarder, and wear the cost that way - but this doesnt really make sense when we are tryign to save money.

My apologies for the ramble above, Im just trying to find someone that can provide me with a true whangarei DID. I have been in contact with WxC and they are able to provide this service, but its quite difficult to get an asterisks based system on their network, you have to meet certain criteria (while they do provide a great service!).

Many Thanks
Jurgen
