Hi There!

Anyone know of a VOIP provider who zero rate calls to VF Mobiles? I know 2D and Conversant have an arrangement, but I was wondering if the same existed for VF with one of the other providers?

Cheers

The only place I've ever seen this is in corporate environment where the organisation has their Mobiles with Vodafone plus a fixed line connection to Vodafone (Eg. ISDN lines) and calls are zero-rated between.

Anything that uses the PSTN (Eg. VoIP providers) is going to incur termination charges.

Free calling to certain networks makes things pretty hard to track and unknown for business costs. Is it really that important?

Use 3G VoIP gateway? Though there is no way to tell when you're calling a Vodafone mobile.

It wouldn't matter, you have x (or unlimited) free minutes on the SIM (these days on-net or off-net usually don't matter) so just use it for any mobile calls.

Edit: also interested where you'd heard about this free calling thing from Conversant -> 2deg, no mention of it on their website, and it seems kind of unusual for the same reason ie. there's no way for you, as a consumer, to know what network you're calling.

Yea was looking at this. It's not what it seems. It is calling to a local number attached to mobile.
