Hi,

I'm looking for a new phone.  I want it to do both normal PSTN & Skype and I also want it to have a answerphone too.  The answerphone bit doesn't seem to come with dual phones, but if you know of one - please let me know.

Cheers, Stevo

The SMC WSKP100 Wi-Fi Phone for Skype seems to be what I'm after, but the wife really wants voicemail as part of the package.  Can anyone confirm exactly what the voicemail option is on this unit please?  I'm not really looking for the skype voicemail option.

/BUMP: Other reccommendations welcomed

I had a quick look around and couldn't find a single unit with a voicemail box. I can recall seeing a dual mode SIP/DECT unit somewhere that had voicemail but that's no good if you want Skype.

Thanks Steve,

Do you know if this phone "SMC WSKP100 Wi-Fi Phone for Skype" can receive PSTN calls to your homeline number?  I know it can make outgoing calls via PSTN, and may have to opt for Skype voicemail if that's all I can get in the mix.

Stevo - have you looked at the Philips 841 -  no voicemail but looks like a good phone with pstn/voip    other option is to research VFX with your isp Xnet? that way you hook in normal pstn phones (and answerphones) to the Linksys or compatible router. i think you can even check voicemail from pda on wireless with the vfx option. gupmyster
