How does iTalk caller tunes work?

I have uploaded the MP3 file to iTalk. But the caller tunes still doesn't work. Does anybody know how this thing works? Thanks.

Caller tunes has not worked for several years on 2Talk..

iTalk, not 2Talk. Slingshot iTalk. Can't get it to work.

Off topic (iTalk, not 2Talk), but caller tunes does still work on 2Talk. I've not changed the tune since 2010, but the page is still there to upload media, and the tune does play when I call my 2Talk number.

I believe they pulled it many years ago because of the copyright issues around this. If you want music on hold you need to may licensing fees for that music.

I tried mine again last week and I just got the default elevator music. When I had it setup and working it suddenly changed to silence and has never worked again. You must have been lucky..

I had no end of trouble setting Italk up on Slingshot. Even once I got it going I couldnt seem to alter any of the standard Italk settings . I would make the change online but nothing changed. I phoned Slingshot a few times and was told on one occasion the problem was on there side with changes made not happening in there systems. I gave up in the end. Now Im wondering if I need a land line at all. I do all my calls on cell phone now.
