Hello everyone,
I would like to review if my setup is reasonable nowadays. I have set this up 3 years ago so wanted to know if there is better options.
We are operating small motel with 8 rooms. All of the room has old fashion phones.
We have
2x 8port voip fxo gateway
2talk trunk - around NZ$52
-2x Tollfree numbers
-3x local numbers
mydivert trunk - NZ$5/month
hosted freepbx - NZ$20/month
landline on mobile with 2degrees NZ$29/monthly plan.
One of the gateway is connected to phone lines comes from 8 rooms and each one of them are registered as extension in freepbx. The other gateway is used for 1x intercom/hotline, 2x office lines so 3 extension in freepbx.
For outbound all local and international countries with 2talk free min are with 2talk trunk and all other international destinations landline and mobile are with mydivert. We use mydivert for nz mobile as well but not an ideal quality.
For inbound calls, we have 150min of mobile min with 2talk plan. Mobile call called to toll free number would use this min. Any incoming call would be forwarded to landline on mobile with 2degrees number so I can take the call anytime without mobile forwarding charge from 2talk.
I have once tried to setup sim gateway with bestmats or some other free talk plan but I could not properly configure sim gateway.
If you can see any suggestion to improve or save, that would be appreciated.
