So I'm setting up a Cisco SPA502G with 2talk.

I managed to use their auto-provision which seemed to have worked fine. However when dialling a number (any) you hear the standard dial tone as well a the calling tone. So it's the phone doesn't stop the dial tone when calling.

I'm thinking that I needed to check the tone settings, so I looked through the 2talk manual guide for a SPA122: http://blog.2talk.co.nz/spa122.html, but I can't seem to find any differences in the Call Progress Tone settings.

I also found a guide by a fellow gz member sbiddle: http://www.geekzone.co.nz/sbiddle/7208. Again I checked some of the settings, but I'm getting a little lost

I think it's just 1 or 2 of the entries which just isn't quite right.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Nick

We don't use the 2Talk provisioning system, so I'm not sure of their settings.  We don't touch any of those type of settings on the SPA502G and we have no issues.

I think I would try upgrading the firmware on the phone if I was you.  We are currently using the latest software with few issues (such a mutual TLS issue which you'll never use).
