I have VoIP delivered via Vodafone fibre which is currently run off a Huawei HG659 directly into the household master phone jack. I would like to consolidate all household networking into a more suitable area and am wondering if the VoIP connection needs a master jack or will any bog standard phone jack work.

Cheers

The phone wiring connection from the router can go to any jack.

make sure theres no "old" dial tone on the copper or you could have problems with the "extra" volts.
