Hi,
I want to port my snap/2degrees number over to 2talk.
I already have an account with 2talk, and I want to keep my existing 2talk number and add a second line with the ported number.
I can't tell from the 2talk web system the right way to do this so that I add another line and not port the snap number over the top of my existing 2talk one.
Should I add a second regional line first, then select port?

Or will selecting "port a number" add another line automatically?

Porting will create another one automatically (one has to remember to remove the old one if it was temporary, otherwise it sits there billing each month).

In the same boat, follow up questions from this,
Is the new number (that is generated from the port from snap) a $6+GST / month one or does it generate a $10+GST / month one?

Also - with concurrent calls, if you have a 2talk free line with 1 concurrent call, and, then get the $6 / month one that adds 1 concurrent call, can you make two concurrent calls from your ported line set up as one number on a 2 port ATA?

The new ported number is in the same boat (ie account) as the others. If you have signed up for the 2talk 10 plan you get 1 included local number.
So if you already had a local number you would have 2 after the port and then you will be charged $6 extra per month.
But if you had not set up a local number, then you will only have 1, which will be included in the plan.

I didn't keep any free numbers on my account, but maybe you would be allowed to make 20mins per month of free concurrent calls?
