They seem to offer free calling to all the major countries like UK, USA, Canada, Australia, NZ etc.

I haven't tried sipdiscount, but I've been using several other brands of the company behind sipdiscount ("Betamax") for more than two years and I'm very happy with their service and especially with their rates.
Besides sipdiscount Betamax run about 20 different brands, which can all be used through SIP in the meantime (before some worked only with a special proprietary softphone), but differ in pricing and numbers of freedays given for each recharging.
You'll find a comparsion chart of all Betamax brands at http://www.backsla.sh/betamax
Allthough Betamax' servers are located in Germany, which brings a latency of 360 ms (from a Xnet ADSL line), call quality is fine to/from NZ.
