Hi all,

 

 

 

This could be a silly question but as I am not familiar in this area, thought of checking with experts :). I have free calling to India on my Spark landline but its always a pain to look for my landline phone when I need to make a phone call overseas. Is there someway I can set the phoneline up with my HG659b modem so I could access my landline's calling policy through a Softphone app? I dont necessarily need to receive the landline calls, all I want is to make use of the free calling to India Offer on my landline.

Get a corderd one so it doesnt get lost perhaps? You could swap the router for a fritzbox which with a cable that is not supplied in NZ can take the analog line in and allow you to use smartphone apps as extensions off it, but not a cheap solution to solve people just not putting the phone back.
