Hi All,

I'm new here and am searching for help, I have a Linksys spa3102 and help is hard to find. Linksys won't answer any questions regarding this product. So please help me out and I'll be forever in debt, if I don't figure this out soon my wife is going to kill me and then sign up with the local phone company again.

Ok first off my settup has been working fine for abour 4 months, everything is still working fine except the phone doesn't ring. Incoming calls are going straight to voice mail. Hence my wifes frustration, everyone else who tries to call me is also getting pretty anoyed that I'm to cheap to use a regular phone line.

Please help me out here I just need to know which setting to change?

Just to be clear my settup goes computer>spa3102>router

Did I mention if this doesn't get fixed I will be thrown out of my home?

Hi, Thanks, yes I have searched on their website, and I also posted on their forums but I haven't found my answer yet. I'm sure someone who nows this box will know the setting that causes this behaviour?

Who is your service provider ?

You havn't set up "Forward all Calls to VoiceMail" we have seen this a few times with some of our customers

, If the calls go directly to Voicemail but your outbound is fine I would suggest checking that.

Hi, my isp is ACANAC I'm in Canada, but ya I've checked all the settings on their end and it's all good there. There must be a setting in the spa3102 web configuration that does this, as you suggest: all calls to voice mail, unfortunately it is not obvious what all the settings do. Trust me if it was as simple as unchecking a box that said "all calls to voice mail" I would do it.

Thanks for the suggestions but please keep them coming, I've contacted my isp and I'm waiting to hear back from them.

Usually a redirection to voice mail is set though a web portal from your provider, or from entering some codes on the keypad directly on the handset - I don't think smart services are handled by the router or ATA device, unless it's a digital PBX.

Just to confirm, you've checked that a redirection does not exist via a website management tool?

Go into your device , under user and check to see if you have DND (Do not disturb) set on anywhere,

Hi,

Just to confirm yes I have checked and re-checked the web portal all features are dissabled so I have ruled that out that as the problem.

My voip router is the Linksys spa3102 and it has a number of setting accessable through the web configuration page, I'm pretty sure one of these setting has changed, I could be wrong but it's the only explaination I can come up, everything has been working fine for quite some time and all of a sudden I have this problem.

Factory reset it would be your best option then
