Kia Ora

I am hoping someone can please help me please,  We have several Cisco 7940 phone running 2talk SIP settings (and yes we know there are many people that have various opinions on these phones- but it is what we have).

And we are trying to get 2talks remotely pick up an incoming call to another phone in the phone group or account (*88).

However we cannot get this feature to work.

We have tried asking 2talks support (as I bang my head against a wall) and they have advised us to disable any star codes or special functions on our phones (which as far as we can see we have),  and they have also advised us that they do not provide any device support.

We have tried googling to see if there are any star codes for the cisco 79xx phones and also how to disable any star codes for the 79xx phone with no helpful results.

So I was wondering if somone can please help me.

All we want to do is be able to answer a phone call on another phone that is ringing from a phone that we are at.

Thank you for your time :)

What are you using as your dialplan in the XML file? Do you have your dialplan configured to allow dialing *88?

Not to our knowledge,  as we configured the phones using the phone interface not a XML file.

Most aspects of the phone can't be configured from the web interface - it's designed to be configured by XML from a provisioning server. I have no idea what the default dialplan is on these phones as it's been 10+ years since I've touch one.

The first step would be to configure a valid dialplan that allows *xx

all of other 2talk codes seem to work fine,  just not that one.

However afer me messaging them again, it now appears to be magically working.
