So Ellipsis and I have decided to spend a boring, rainy Saturday night installing Trixbox onto a spare PC of mine.

We have installed it according to tony's guidelines, "http://myasterisk.co.nz/2007/12/12/how-to-set-up-a-worldxchange-vfx-trunk-in-trixbox-22/"

We can communicate between the phones.

we have edited the bits that need editing pproperly (we think)

But when we try to make an outgoing call, we get the error "All circuits are busy right now, please try again later"

When we try to call it from an outside line we get the error "The number you are trying to reach is unavailable and can not take your call at this time, please leave a message"

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks
Simon and Riley. :D

Sounds like either your trunk has not registered or your inbound and outbound routes aren't setup properly.

If you have followed tonys guide then id suggest its the first of these two. If you login to the web portal under and go to the PBX settings page you should see the following

You want to be looking at IP Trunk Registrations - if this isn't at 1, then you will need to check out your vfx settings - perhpas turn on trixbox debug mode

The IP trunk, and IP registrations, are both at 1.

how do you get into debug mode?

also, when logging into it, (the trixbox website logon to get updates) that doesnt appear to work. We have signed up and done all that stuff for the Trixbox website.

Try putting

disallow=all

at the start of your trunk settings rather than after the allow= statement, this should fix your issue. Something seems to have changed that requires the disallow statement before the allow, this never used to be the case.

Is this the trixbox login screen on the main dashboard?

Try a

yum -update

and that should update all the packages including the tbm-GUIcore which controls the main dashboard and menus
