have no idea what im doing

 

 

cant seem to get it to register.

 

fibre thru myrepublic do i need to change settings on there?

Try change the address to tls.2talk.co.nz and port 5061, for the SIP server and proxy.

 

And also set the transport to TLS.

 

Set Server Expires to 300.

 

 

 

You shouldn't need to do anything in the router but I would disable that setting in your screenshot.

Try filling in the label and Display name. I had the same issue the other day and that seemed to sort it.

Is that second screenshot from your router?

You will firstly want to disable SIP ALG (if it has one). Then you will want to disable any built in SIP client (like an ATA).. also sometimes worth just changing the SIP port away from 5060 even when it is disabled.

I see you are using UDP for SIP transport, give TCP a go, I have had numerous issues on non registration (more with Cisco SPA handsets) if UDP is used.

 

Also, did you setup the STUN service, this may be required to traverse My Republics CG-NAT (assuming hear they use that,something make me think so)
