Hi there

I am not sure this may be the correct place for this, but anyway.

I have a strange situation where a txt message alert on an Apple iPhone cuts of in-progress calls on a PABX system phone.

Incoming ringing no problem, just TXT alerts

Androids no problem

Any one got any ideas

It's got the PABX manufacturer scratching there heads.

Regards

What's the link between the PBX phone and the iPhone?

I just had a very similar issue with a Plantronics headset with phone/bluetooth/usb input.

Bluetooth to a mobile.
EHS connection (fonewise adapter) to an LG IP phone.

When a call came through on the LG phone, wasn't answered, when the ringing stopped it triggered the EHS which made the headset switch to the phone input even if there was an active call on the bluetooth.

The fix (for now) was to downgrade the LG phone firmware.
