Hi All,

I'm a complete noob trying to set this phone up with our 2talk account. I've gone as far as trying various methods to get this to work.

I have verified that my credentials and settings are correct as I can successfully connect to the server using x-lite.

Can someone guide me through on how to set this phone up instead? I've searched the forums for some instructions around this but haven't found anything that is useful.

Currently line 1 is orange with a failed login attempt. When the press the button (orange) to access line one, it shows on the LCD Failed (403).

I have factory reset and upgraded the phone to the latest firmware - 7.6.2 at this time.

Any help will be GREATLY appreciated.

Also apologies if this has been answered before and is really a noob question.

Thanks.

Don't they offer auto provisioning now?

There are about 40 settings to change in one of these to offer an optimal config for NZ and for a typical provider. I'd suggest you contact them for help or look for a config guide on their website.

There are some config guides on 2talk's website which would probably have some relevance to your config. They're not for your model specifically, but many of the settings will be the same. Probably worth a look if you haven't seen them already:

I don't know if they provide an autoconfig file for these devices. I'd be great if they did but nup. You're correct in saying that there are more than 40 settings to set up.

I've been messaging their support - Max - who cannot see this device authenticating on their end except for the softphone login attempt.

This is depressing to say the least.

Surely someone has set this phone up with these guys. We've got a SPA504 that's configured with their settings and i've tried to copy as much of it as possible to no avail/dice.

If you can perform a packet capture of the phone's traffic then it would likely be pretty easy from there to determine at which point it's failing.
