I did that.  Voip phone became no incoming voice packets but hand off busy tone or other party released tone came in without counting up pack numbers.

Unticked to make it normal phone again.

Don't do that again.

Could have been food poisoning.

Can't blame anyone else..  Where were you when this happened?  Have you consumed any alcohol today?  Where are you going?  Name and address please Sir?

I kept IP6 on the Fritzbox turned off for a few years because it caused some weird issues in Windows. I turned it on again 6 months ago and it works perfectly.

Sounds like your router is on the Fritz... Have you tried turning everything off and then on again?

Restarts and latest firmware.

I took one of my old cars for a W O F and it did not pass so I am not going to have the other one checked until the covid dispensation expires.  So there's that.

No I am not going to IPv6 again to check the dishwasher monkey.

If you're using 2degrees VDSL, why are you not using their VoIP product?

Sensible question.

Land line equivalent number to appease only house manager and a few relatives.

Usage infrequent apart from local area.

International 250 minutes to qualified countries has been valuable compared with unlimited Australia minutes adequately included in otherwise wasteful cell phone accounts.

We were voip snap without problems.

I admit that the existing issue was of my own making and I am unskilled and somewhat disinclined to investigate a proper cure because IPv4 is good enough at the moment pre CGNAT, what ever that is.  The fact that the reduced end to end connection for sign off or busy tones worked is interesting.

If pressured I could check the dishwasher monkey to see if there really was never a problem.  Is that what is coming next?
