Hi there, we run a call centre for incoming and outgoing calls. we have an LG IPecs phone system and have 2talk sip trunks. We are wanting to be able to display different Caller ID for different clients we call. i.e. for customer group A - we want to display one number, but when calling customer group B - we want to display another number. We have about 10 different groups we want to set up for this. Does anyone know how to do this? or if it is even possible? Thanks for your help

I don't recall there being any rules for setting outbound caller ID based on the destination number within the 2Talk Web interface. You would most likely need to do this on your system before the call was processed. If you can do that, then that's probably all you need to do, provided all the numbers are associated with your 2Talk account. It is also possible to verify third-party numbers and use these for caller ID in 2Talk, at least when phones are registered directly. This can be done via the Website.

Yes it's definitely possible if your PBX supports it. You simply need to enable the additional numbers via the myCLI feature set on 2talk's web-site (so that they don't re-write your CLID back to your main account CLID) then have your PBX technician configure your PBX to put the correct CLID into the outbound SIP signalling.

It's been years since I played with an iPECS but I would imagine doing something like that would be difficult or near impossible.

With an IP based PBX such as Asterisk there are a multitude of ways of doing it.
