My wife and I both have 2Talk lines, and this morning are unable to make calls to PSTN lines. We can call other 2Talk numbers and the voicemail service.

If I place a call using my Nokia N82, the phone returns "Internet phone service not available".

If I place a call with my soft phone, the screen shows "error, other side says forbidden".

Both of our accounts are in credit.

Anyone else experiencing issues?

Jonathan

I'm getting authentication errors, despite nothing being changed on my end. I tried to reset pw through live.2talk.co.nz and tried that, still same thing. sigh...

I'm able to register fine (so incoming calls work), it's just the outbound that I have the problems with.

It's fixed for me now. Maybe we all overloaded the thing when calling vanquished Ausies after the cricket!

I can confirm that 2talk had some issues early this morning with outbound calling affecting a number of 2talk customers.  Our call records suggest around 20% of our customers would have been affected by the issue on one of our gateways.  The problem appears to have started at around 6am and should have been resolved just after 9am this morning.  If you still have any issues please let us know.  We apologise for the issues caused this morning and will investigate how to prevent this from occurring again in the future.

Please always contact us by emailing support (at) 2talk (dot) co (dot) nz if you have such issues, but we will try our best to also monitor the geekzone boards for any issues.

2talk.

Good to see you here.

For me it was an issue when I was trying to make work-related calls beginning at about 4 AM today.

Thanks for getting onto this so promptly.
