After doing a factory defaults on my SPA2102 as told to by the guys at slingshot, I'm now getting the Reorder tone when dialing *55 to access voicemail... is there some configuration that I'm possibly missing? When the call is active, the SPA is showing the dialed number as "*55" and that it's an invalid call.

Thought I'd ask here first, since someone may have seen this, and know what I need to look for to fix it. :)

The Linksys adapter has a whole heap of * codes preprogrammed for vertical service settings.

Go into the Regional settings and find what setting uses *55 and delete it. You can delete the bulk of these as they will never be any use.

Thanks for the reply.. Unfortunately there was no setting with *55 as it's code - which leads me to believe that it's my Dial Plan that's awry.. yet it does have "*xxS0" in it, at the start no less. I say this because it's around 5 seconds before I get the Reorder tone, which is what the setting in the ATA is.

I've just checked my iTalk features, and the only odd thing is that the feature "When dialing the voicemail number from an iTalk phone ask for the mailbox number? (By default you will be connected to your own mailbox)" was enabled.. but I should still have reached the IVR.

Whoa, it's not working on X-Lite either... so it's not the ATA, must be my account. Oddly, every time I call *52, I always get 'voicemail activated', never 'deactivated'.

Yeah, I ended up calling slingshot and waiting on hold for 20 minutes while they looked into it. Turns out they needed to raise a fault call for it, because they could replicate it at their end when using my SIP login.

I got a call this afternoon saying that voicemail service should be restored, and indeed it was. I asked the rep what it was, and if it was just me - to paraphrase, it was a server config issue, and he was making quite a few calls this afternoon to let people know it's working again.
