Hi All,


I have owned a PAP2T device for the last couple of years, used on the Xnet VFX service.
However I want to switch to 2talk's voip service - which does work with the PAP2T device.


Is it easy to login to the PAP2T and basically reset it to work with 2talk?

The login is http://<ipaddress>/admin/voice

The standard default has no password set,  but if you bought it pre-configured a password might have been set by Xnet VFX.

If you do not have the manual,  you can download a PDF version from

http://www.linksysbycisco.com/ANZ/en/support/PAP2T/download

If a password has been set,  then doing a factory reset and updating the firmware will usually reset the password on most equipment.

Google around for how to do the reset but from memory its something along the lines of #73.... (I honestly can't remember but it shouldn't be hard to find).

I think you're on the right track. You spell "reset" so 73738

If you go onto 2talks website then click on support at the top of the page you will find a link marked installation guides scroll down to PAP2T and click on it, it gives you step by step instructions on how to reset the PAP2T and everything else you need to know on how to set it up. Yes 73738# is the reset. The PAP2T is quite easy to setup on 2talk, have done it myself.
