Anyone else having problems with their skypein number not working?

Ours is 04-889-xxxx but is not connecting from our Telstra phone, and Vodafone report it as not connected or invalid.  xxxx = 2303

Our skype account shows the number as active.

I've submitted 2 support requests to Skype but had no response.

I'm wondering if it's something to do with us having only initially purchased it for 3 months, and then renewing it (before the end of the 3 months) for another 12 months?

Anyone know any direct contact method for the peeps responsible for Skype phone interconnections in NZ, or to find out the status of 04-889-xxxx?

Skype's numbers are managed by Symbio networks in Sydney.

There have been issues in the past with Skype calls not connecting which in one case was Symbio activating a new number range without apparently going through the correct channels and advising other telcos.

I'm assuming that this number has infact been working fine in the past?

You could try contacting Symbio directly and see if they have anything to say.
