As the subject line says. I am getting delays connecting calls. Can take up to 15 seconds to get a ringing noise from the last button pressed when dialing. Is this normal for 2Talk and the PAP2T(on snap NDSL)?Just set this up. Also have a xnet VFX connection as well (not same device or internet connection) and call's connect fast.

Did you configure the device yourself or is it using 2talk's provisioning system?

If it's not and you set up the device yourself your first test is to see if pushing # after the number makes the call connect straight away. If it does you'll need to create an appropiate dialplan and change the short and long interdigit timers to correct the issue.

Yes set it up myself - was a long list to follow... do they even have a provisioning system?? Anyway the # trick works fine so I will have another look. Might try them see if they have an automatic set up like VFX

Thanks for you help.

Sorry getting confused with the iTalk provisioning system.

You'll need to read up about creating a correct dialplan for NZ number ranges and also tweak the interdigit timers. Sorry I can't help right now will post something later on if you can wait.

Changed the interdigit long timer from 10 to 0 connects faster now. Won't ring a 022 test number tho will look at that later.
