I've had a problem with the 7940's not changing thier time for daylight saving for a few years now. I have multiple PIAF boxes with various cisco phones. I've tried various ntp + sntp settings and servers but none work. Does anyone have a solution ? I'm currently using SIP firmware POS3-08-9-00. The phones are excellent but the time thing seems riduculous for something seemingly simple.

They get the timezone from the config file they tftp down dont they? So you just have to update the config files and reboot the phones then?

I dont bother with my cicsos, just have it on UTC since when I set it up I couldnt figure out what to put for +1300.

richms - thanks for your reply. I thought the localisation settings on the phone(no +1300 setting) wouldn't allow this but on investigating my sip default DST settings, I hadn't set up the right day / date to change. Have done now, and all is good. Thanks for the pointer - its only taken me 2 years to figure it out......
