Hello there,

I am looking for suggestions for a RELIABLE VOIP provider.
We do not provide any VOIP service but have been recommending providers to our customers.

It appears that the companies we are recommending are either too small or just have no support. I really do not want to recommend any company that is just not cutting it.

There is only three requirements my customers really need:

Offshore registrations possible.
NZ Phone numbers
Call Forwarding

If you can help, please let me know.

There is a list of most NZ VoIP providers here

WxC's VFX/VDX and 2talk are the biggest players.

We currently use VFX, but I am unaware if it can be used by offshore clients. 2talk is one of the companies we reccomend, however they arent exactly easy for people to contact and I really do not like giving support on their behalf when we are just recommending them.

VFX can be used offshore. You will need a physical address in NZ within the same LICA/LCA that the number is located in to register the VFX account.

Phone numbers here in NZ are only supposed to be issued for use within the same LICA/LCA (local calling area) that the customer resides. All numbers should also be tired back to a physical address so 111 guidelines can be adhered to. The numbering rules are part of the NAD guidelines, many VoIP providers choose to ignore these but they are technically breaking the rules to do so.

As for 2 talk you get a fantastic platform with great prices but at the end of the day you get a payment and support system that is very much a case of "you get what you pay for".
