Years ago I had Skype Out on Woosh. It was useless. Now I have Vodafone Broadband.

Has Skype out improved. Its it like normal phones now?

I used it quite a bit during their free period, used to use it on my iPod touch (when I had one, before it was stolen) to call my parents in Nelson.

Voice quality was good, latency is not bad at all, it's actually quite a bit like calling off a regular phone now.

Give it a go, just topup your Skype amount with a ikkle bit of money to start with to trial it.
