Anybody else noticed that you can choose a regional phone number in Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane for $7/month?
I wonder if the 2000 minutes / month for "local" calls still applies.

They've had that for a while now.

You can get numbers for less from Australian VoIP providers but it means having two trunks. This if fine if you have a PBX or ATA with routing functions but a pain if you're only using something like a Linksys ATA.

Any recommendations for Australian SIP providers?

Thanks

I've always used Faktortel.

MyNetFone offer some good deals incl $0 per month and $5 per year for a DDI or $4.95 per month for a DDI and 60 included untimed calls.
