Hi all!
Tearing my hair out a bit trying to get a SIP trunk setup with an Asterisk server.
I can register my number on Asterisk when I don't have SIP trunking enabled on 2talk no problems. But as soon as I enable SIP trunking it just won't register.
Now from what I understand I need to stop Asterisk doing the normal registration by going in to sip.conf and change register=yes to =no. But this is where I fall short! I am using Asterisk GUI and as far as I can tell it isn't actually updating the sip.conf when I change stuff on the gui. But because normal registration works it has to be writing stuff to some where right? After lots of googling I just can't find a thing.

Oh and in my router (pfsense) I have ports 5060 & 10000-11000 forwarded to the asterisk box. Then just for good measure added a pass rule in the firewall for the trunk.2talk.co.nz ip address. figured that isn't really needed but just did it as I was grasping at straws lol.

Maybe I just should just stick to Samsung PBXs instead haha.
