Hi, I got my free ultimate version and had a nice nap. I was wondering if it is like the retail version and not the OEM. Because I talked to the Microsoft phone operator and she said with the retail you can upgrade your computer hardware like motherboard and its fine as much as you want, but you will have to activate it each motherboard change. With OEM you can't, it's stuck with that motherboard.
Will this complementary copy work like a retail version? Because I'm waiting for a bit more money until I can upgrade to a new dual core motherboard and such, but at the same time I can't wait to try it out on my old motherboard?
Well as luck would have it tonight is the night of the event in ChCH and I missed it. I'd have gone to get the Vista release. As yet I haven't used it but would love to get my hands on it to give it a try before forking out for an OS that I probably don't need. This legit XP professional has served me well, albeit cumbersome and heavy at times. (I still think Win2k was/is better for performance.)
So if anyone has a spare Vista floating around after the Chch meeting maybe they could get in touch.
Nope I didn't been heads down bum up for months and haven't really had a chance to do anything other than work lately. Just finished building an online shop for a friend. Never played with php before so a huge learning curve. It's still in trial mode so if u want to gander and test it/comment on it you are more than welcome http://www.4lenses.co.nz use credit card number 4111111111111111 to process right through. Doing three jobs at the moment and it seems like forever since I visited this place and my other haunts, time I started again now that I have some space.
