Well played sir. However I just ordered an XFX 8800GTS 640MB today so we'll see how that goes. I'm also waiting on the AMD Phenom X4's to arrive in a couple of months

Overkill, I say. That's not a home desktop PC. It's a small business server!
Shouldn't your OS be Windows Server 2008 Beta 3?   Laughing

Well Ultimate was aimed at the geeky types who want all the features they'll never use... I think that covers everyone here

Yeah I overclocked graphics card by quite a bit. The ASUS 7900GS is an awesome card to OC. I only increased the CPU from 2.6GHz to 2.7 GHz. Easiest way is via the BIOS and increase clock speed if your BIOS supports it.

Also if anyone is interested I have a one month old Athlon X2 4600+ AM2 for sale...

Mine is 3.

But here is a gag tweak, where u can TWEAK it very simply to increase it !!!

Go to C:\Windows\Performance\WinSAT\DataStore and check for the latest xml file. Open it with Word. Navigate to Lines 12-19. They will show scores of your PC on various accounts. Although the scores are meant to have a range from 1.0 to 5.9, you can just change the main one in Line-12 to whatever figue you want.

Features of software relying on your Windows Experience Score will now ALSO get enabled. eg. if your score is below a 3.0, you can’t have themes for the Photo Screensaver.
