Found a solution and it involves registering javascript dll again - by any chance your IE can't execute javascript, or have you blocked javascript?

Have you tried disable Kaspersky and run skype?

I haven't blocked java well at least I dont think that I have. I even reinstalled that to make sure.

Im not disabling my security.

I have windows 8.1

It's Javascript, not Java. If you don't need Java uninstall it now - not related to Skype at all.

Ok awesome, i'll do that now and I'll look in IE's settings and see if I can find java script

I cant find settings for java script (might not be looking in the right place or something) and I have removed the java program since i dont need

UPDATE:

I have finally got skype working to sign in, and use, just finished getting the mic to re work again.

Now my next question. How the heck do I get it to show the home page in the app correctly instead of it showing loading all the time :D?

Also I have removed kaspersky.

I think you might have more stuff in your PC that is causing this than Kasperski. Have you installed a different security software now? Not good to be unprotected.

The only ones that I use besides my hardware firewall are:

Avast AV
Crap Cleaner
Windows firewall

Those are all the newer ones that I do use.
