vroom: H7600M - I'm wondering if it's too old for the new driver?

Ah mobile gpu... technically you're supposed to get drivers from your notebook vendor not AMD. AMD only provides generic drivers that don't account for tweak/changes than notebook vendors have made.

Unfortunately vendors are terrible at providing drivers for anything but their newest products.

Ah you may be right - however the latest Samsung driver I can find is 2012 - I think I won't go there!

Surprised that my mixed branded pair of HD4850's are running in crossfire in W10.  Screen shot here where I'm selling a spare unused card http://www.trademe.co.nz/computers/components/video-cards/pciexpress/auction-928110444.htm but I've since updated to Catalyst 13.4 - 8.970.100.0

You're not on Atlantis anymore, Duncan Idaho.
