I wonder if the VPN list in the Network icon will allow to connect to a VPN instead of taking you to another VPN list

I thought I was the only one who hated this...

My biggie would be "will setting a connection to metered stop on drive from automatically synching"... my wallet would be pleased

How do I "request the upgrade for free"?

Can find no information on this.

If you are running Windows 7 or Windows 8 and have Windows Update all done, and have not opted-out then you should have a notification in the system tray where you can select to install the update.

I interpreted it as saying that if you are currently running Windows 10, you can get the Anniversary Day update for free (if you apply before the 29th)

Does not seem to be referring to Win 7 & 8 systems, or am I missing something?

Seems the safest method is using the advanced rollback to earlier version (and clearing an update cache) or being sure a snapshot is made before attempted install is best bet

We have seen it a fair bit too. Quite frankly I feel very frustrated that customers are being "forced" to participate in what seems to be the worlds largest and longest running beta test. I don't recall a less stable OS by MS in a LONG LONG time.

I've come across dot net 3.5 being uninstalled after the anniversary update, also had printer drivers removed on the same pc.
