Make sure the Windows firewall is on. Should come on by default when ZA is uninstalled, but definitely worth checking. Alternatives Comodo firewall pro (I use and like) Online Armour (Read very good reviews.)
Im just reinstalling zone alarm on saturday, it was just malfunctioning after system restore, same as some of my other programs, windows firewall auto enabled though
