You made me go and look at their feedback.

I am not seeing massi problems or indications of piracy from the feedback.

I can see a couple of people had issues - which they appeared to fix. To be honest I know of people that bought MS office keys from regular retailers that had problems getting the product activated. The activation process sometimes seems to screw up anyway.

I spent 3 hours online with MS support a couple of months back trying to get the Brother in-laws MS office licence sorted. It was a legit licence from Warehouse Stationary - but the activation screwed up and took the online support person a couple of hours to sort out.

rubbish, and one of the feedback actually states "Product key didn't work had to get microsoft helpline to reset this but now office appears to be ok. " actually that comment is common among the neutral comments that microsoft helped them activate it.

microsoft would not reset a counterfeit product.

If they are genuine you never get activation issue. It seems that he’s doing the same trick to avoid legal problem. He is selling in different account now.

Not necessarily true. They would have to know, to refuse.

The other factor is the licensing. May be a perfectly legit license, but purchased originally for a different purpose. Reselling those is a grey area. I believe Microsoft have every right to deactivate those at any time, so buying is not a good idea.

Home user may take a chance and lose money. A business purchaser would have to be slightly nuts because additional consequences are possible.

Excuse me, they do b*gger all . Nothing has changed.
Ive reported obviously counterfeit software several times, the listings didnt even get pulled by trademe. At least some reply would have been nice.

A single CD containing 5 completely different Vendors software, $800+ worth being sold for $40 .
What sort of proof do they need ?

The NZ importer/agent of the genuine software in question told me Trademe are hopeless at doing anything , even when reported by the NZ Software Agent, to the extent the NZ agent/seller has now given up trying with Trademe .
