Already reading that things are not going very well with MDT, Sysprep and other tools needed to deploy to an business environment...

This is because the build, Sysprep, capture method is no longer recommended by Microsoft, They're pushing for task sequences with clean WIMs instead.

We're on ConfigMgr 1706 and have been testing 1709 deployments for a couple weeks with the insider builds and haven't yet run into any major issues.

Just received it via Windows Update. Installed with no problems on my HP EliteBook G2.

Has anyone been able to successfully install this update this morning?

I've tried on 2 machines so far and in the stage with multiple restarts it bluescreens on both then does a rollback.

I'm doing it on an HP laptop (with some HP customization) and a desktop PC that is a plain-vanilla install of Windows 10, only thing common between the 2 units is they have nvidia drivers.

Can't seem to find where windows 10 puts the dmp files so I can investigate further.

Yes. Two computers, no problems at all. One was through windows update, and the other was with the media creation tool.

With the media creation tool, it downloaded version 1709 16299.15, after it was installed windows update updated it to 16299.19.

I have had it on my phone for a while now, and i find it quite useful at home (where my phone is most likely charging or not in my pocket) to have my pc notify me if I have missed a text/call etc.

How do I get Windows Media Player to work, and not crash or simply close, when trying to open a file with it?

I re-added WMP through the Apps & Features after uninstalling it last night (I thought the update would do that. Nonetheless what I am experiencing now with WMP was what I was experiencing yesterday after the upgrade). It was only once I did a google that I was alerted that Microsoft had pulled it, but could get it back by going into Apps and Features)

It offered it to me via Windows Update and then failed halfway through the download and then disappeared from the list of updates available. However updated it via the Microsoft website Update Assistant thing.

Was very interested in the "Now you can join your Android phone to your PC" thing. However turns out after sending a link to my phone that the Cortana App that is required isn't available in NZ. You'd think that you wouldn't include something as a big features on the splash screen when you can tell the PC is in a country that doesn't have the required app!

Yep, on my SP4 is just gets about half way through and then says "reverting to your previous version".

Last Windows10 update cost me a morning's work as I restored back my laptop after it failed to reboot after the update.

Now I avoid all Windows10 updates unless I have a pressing need for it.

I have done my Surface Laptop, iMac, PC, Huawei Matebook and my wife's Surface with hitch and all running great. I have also done the Xbox and all is good.
