Is there a way to download previous ISO builds of Win10?

I found an old laptop that was running a very old build, but when it tries to install 1709 it gets into a loop.

Would like to try installing just 1607 to see how that goes.

Since the demise of most VLK issues you can pretty much get the ISO without too much threat these days

The URL parses a request ID to microsoft.com domain it seems.. (old versions are available to MSDN subs for development etc still)

Plenty of less than legit ways..

I suspect the only legitimate way however is to sign into either a VLSC or MSDN account with appropriate software benefit rights. A basic MSDN Platforms license isn't too painful on the wallet, I think list price is around 1-2k per annum.
