Mine are all to do with how multimonitor is still a half finished mess:

Direct audio to the monitor that the app is placed on automatically.

Better handling of different monitor sizes so that the mouse ends up in the right place when moving between a 27 and a small one that are both 1080.

Bezel correction that doesnt result in a gap that the mouse cannot traverse.

Fix extreme corners of screens not moving to the other monitor, needing to me moved down about half a titlebar width to get across.

Fix the snapping to the sides of screens thing jamming up being able to move apps between screens needing it to be turned off, also disabling the windows+arrow combinations to move windows.

Multi-windowed file explorer: Clover

I've been using this for years, and it works great. Same keyboard shortcuts as browsers as well.

I think that will be the one. Microsoft have a concept called Sets containing any number of applications or windows in tabs within the set. Live integration for an anywhere desktop. Removed from earlier insiders 'to make it great' aka redesign and testing. It could be back in insider again:

Hmm. Might try Clover. Or might wait to see if it really is coming soon to an operating system near you...

Looked at Clover installation - bit wary of the Korean text with tick marks next to it, probably says Add Shortcut or something, but still...

The latest build includes one of our most requested design features ever — plus tools that can improve your typing, protect you from ransomware, and even control those web sites that auto-play media.

They are removing Asphalt: airborne, 3d Paint, bubble witch, candy crush, hidden city, royal revolt, minecraft, xbox integration.

These things should be optional add ons. I noticed one of the windows updates, so much goes into keeping the above things updated.

Multiple timezone support for the calendar app. My clock can display multiple timezones but the calendar is sadly only current timezone capable.

If you're gonna shutter Groove Music as a service and force the app to use the Spotify library then at least let us uninstall Groove Music so I can just use the Spotify app.

Corollary to the previous point: don't reinstall a bunch of apps I have already uninstalled whenever a major update ships.

Someone needs to fix the problem with Skype integration creating separate entries in your 'People' app. You open Skype and it syncs with your People app to match contacts you already have then People syncs with Skype which then adds the phone numbers it harvested from People back to People as uneditable Skype entries. This either results in a contact having two identical numbers listed or two identical contacts being created. This has been an issue since WP7 and is still awful.

They’re getting close, but further improvements on cloud stored settings and data. One day you’ll be able to format your pc and everything will be exactly as it was before when you sign back in - sans of course any software issues. Should work if you sign in with any Microsoft account.

Windows 10 would have to the most buggy release yet.

You'd think by now Microsoft would have learned how to get it right.

Why do they need to make wholesale changes with each new version with the very real probability these changes will introduce bugs.

Imagine if this happened in the automotive industry? The manufacturers would be sued to hell and back.

IIRC, it's Chinese, but your point stands.

FWIW, a monolingual Japanese friend told me a while back he doesn't like installing software that has English in the install file, cos it looks "dodgy". smile
